Cameron Highlands

On 17th May 2008, i, Kok Weng, Sek Phon, Chee Dutt went to Cameron Highlands. We came back on 19th May 2008. It was an enjoyable and wonderful trip. First it is because stress and tiredness from our workload. Secondly, this is because it had been a long long time since the last trip in Ipoh.

We reached cameron around 2pm, used the new road, through Simpang Pulai, a much more better choicecompared to the old one.

We stayed in Bala's resort. This is the dream house that i have ever had. An English style cottage. From the outside view, it was really attractive. But, i felt dispointed when discovered the poor maintenance in the resort itself. There were hole, hole that can peep through between 2 rooms, and there was one small hole on the wall in our bathroom. Small enough to let people peep through. I guess this was not like the thriller movie or something, just the maintenance site's problem.

We went to local famous night market at Tanah Rata. Ya, before that, we had dinner in a steamboat restaurant too. One question, why there were so many flies in Cameron. Remembered 10years ago, there was not any!

At my first sight, i was wondering what kind of fruit is that???
I never seen them before!!! How silly!! hehe. Actually, this is what we call "hoi dai ye".

Is the name "putu mayam"? i forgot the name, something like that. It is a local Malay dessert. Quite nice!

The way the Malay aunt made it looked nice. Especially when you see the hot steam coming out from the coconut pieces at the centre of the "kuih", you wish you could have a bite on it as soon as possible in order to warm your body!!

The flower there were nice. To the girls, it will be another bonus point to let you consider cameron as your travel destination!! Furthermore, they were really cheap.
I guess guys will probably ask their girl friend if they can give the rose flower before or after Valentine's Day, and they can buy the rose from Cameron. Imagine, 24 roses, only cost RM10.00
This was the Cameron Valley Tea House. You can always take the
photo in the tea plantation.

The Tea and Scone were popular. Lot people queue for that. We did not buy any scone. Not cheap. Looking at the size of the scone, not worth it!

We were at the Rose Farm. It was great. Although we need to pay, i think it was RM 5/ person. But really worth to visit!!
Not only rose flower, you can see a great variety of plants, orchid, daisy, cactus, apple, tomato and other species of flower which i had never heard the name before. This photo we took it by adjusting the camera on the table. See!! It is nice!!

This is my favourite flower - Daisy! Meaning INNOCENCE and PURITY! Exactly like me. Ghahaha....

Looking at the flower, my mood became superb good suddenly. Girls are different from guys. Girls will start to imagine, how great it is if all the flowers are belong to her. At least, i am one of them! I just hope that every morning once i wake up, i can see diffrent color of flowers in the garden right in front of my room.
Guys will feel boring, just like my frend CD, straightly went to see the peacocks at the small animal corner in the farm. Haha

Before going home, we just stopped at the Dunkin Donut at Tapah Toll to have our donuts.

Guess which one was the tastiest one? You wont believe me if i tell you the answer. The one with the white powder outside was the best. I still remember the chocolate sauce in it was so rich. Yummy! How i wish i can have it now.

The Cameron trip was wonderful. The most valuable thing was that we four people had a really enjoyable weekend there. The moment when we laughed, joked, get crazy together were the greatest thing that help us to release stress in the work.
